The month of April is off to a flying start for the Vicky Services team. On the day of the joke, but looking fully responsible and with a professional focus, we take over the facilitation of the service of a new large client, with the status "Strategic". The concessionaire of our Varna and Burgas international airports, Fraport Bulgaria, entrusts our company with cleaning and disinfection, separate garbage collection and maintenance of green areas at its two sites. The presence of such a client in our portfolio is both an attestation of the team's expertise and a huge challenge to meet international service standards in the conditions of our country's accession to the Schengen area.
    Facilitate the partnership in the next 5 years with Fraport Bulgaria, part of the German company Fraport Group, is a responsible task that our company undertakes from April 1, 2024 with professionalism and a structured operational plan. Meeting the high demands of a client with strict hygiene criteria is both a challenging and motivating task for our team, especially in the active summer tourist season when airport traffic is at its peak. The inclusion of Vicky Services in airport support activities comes at a time when the new measures for our country's entry into Schengen are being introduced, which also necessitates the reconfiguration and adaptation of part of our company's main processes.
    The passenger terminal of Varna airport is located on an area of about 20,000 square meters, and that of Burgas airport on 21,000 square meters, with a total annual potential of both of 5.3 million passengers from all over the world. In the past year 2023, the airports in Varna and Burgas welcomed a total of 3.7 million passengers and served more than 27 thousand flights of 70 Bulgarian and foreign airlines, operating charter and scheduled flights to more than 105 destinations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
    In order to ensure optimal quality of its services and to justify the expectations of its new strategic client, the management of Vicky Services is implementing an investment plan, including professional cleaning equipment from leading manufacturers, including the latest robotic technologies on the market. In addition to this, a procedure with scheduled work protocols and most importantly a prepared expert team, with knowledge and experience from similar sites, has been adopted to ensure, maintain and control compliance with the standards of the two international airports.
